Hi, I’m Beth and I love taking photos, especially of Cape Cod, hence my not-so-mysterious nickname and Instagram handle (@CapeCodBeth). I’m a sunset-chaser in the way people on The Weather Channel are tornado-chasers, much safer but equally time sensitive. I can’t resist beaches and sunrises, clouds and trees, boardwalks, docks and buoys, beautiful buildings, hydrangeas and pretty much all of nature. Although I’m a native Cape Codder, I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a bit and walking for hours around new places taking photos is my favorite way to explore. I’ve traveled to 32 countries and have lived in Providence, San Diego, Orlando, Paris and Hong Kong before returning to the Cape. My photos are mainly landscapes and interesting vignettes that catch my eye, but recently I’ve been dabbling in portraits, thanks to my ever-patient, indulgent and cooperative family and friends. I shoot almost exclusively on my iPhone 7Plus but have been experimenting a bit with a DSLR as well. I also love writing and meeting new people, perks of my day job as the Director of Communications for a local company.
